The Average Payment Plan can help reduce your high bills in summer and winter and make it easier to manage your monthly bill. The plan allows you to pay a monthly bill on the average cost of your most recent 12-month period. The amount due may vary slightly month to month but if you were signed up for Average Payment, your bill for this month would have only been Label and then every bill in the coming months would be close to that same amount. It’s not too late to sign up for your Label bill.

Safety is a core value at Westar Energy. We hold our contractors to the same level of safety as we do our employees. Working together, we can ensure zero accidents - Zero Today - Zero Tomorrow, so Nobody Gets Hurt.
Contractors and construction workers are constantly working with or surrounded by electricity on a work site. Westar Energy wants to make sure workers avoid hazards by practicing basic safety rules while working around overhead and underground utility lines.
In an electric emergency, call 911, then contact Westar Energy immediately at 800-383-1183.

Police, firefighters, and EMTs are generally the first to arrive on the scene of an emergency and face the greatest risks of electrical hazards. Westar Energy wants to make sure first responders know how to recognize and manage these conditions to make everyone safer.
