The Average Payment Plan can help reduce your high bills in summer and winter and make it easier to manage your monthly bill. The plan allows you to pay a monthly bill on the average cost of your most recent 12-month period. The amount due may vary slightly month to month but if you were signed up for Average Payment, your bill for this month would have only been Label and then every bill in the coming months would be close to that same amount. It’s not too late to sign up for your Label bill.

For generations, nature has provided for Kansas farmers. Now, it’s also providing clean energy for Kansas. In fact, Westar Energy’s wind farms helped put Kansas in the top three in the U.S. for renewable generation.
Today, one-third of your energy comes from renewable sources. That’s because Westar harnesses the plentiful Kansas wind and sun to generate clean energy for our state, and we will continue to increase that amount.
Generating more clean energy for Kansas also generates jobs and opportunities for Kansans. It’s how we’re powering a better future with renewable energy that protects our state’s environment and stimulates its economy while keeping your power reliable and affordable.
