The plan allows you to pay a monthly bill on the average cost of your most recent 12-month period. The amount due may vary slightly month to month but if you were signed up for Average Payment, your bill for this month would have only been Label and then every bill in the coming months would be close to that same amount. Topeka, Kan., Oct. 22, 2018 – Westar Energy’s Green Team will be planting about 50 trees on Saturday, Oct. 27, beginning at 9 a.m. in Eureka, Kansas. They are expected to finish between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Media are invited.
This project will help Eureka with storm recovery and restoration efforts, as the town was hit with tornadoes twice in the past two years.
Westar Energy’s Green Team is a group of volunteers that takes on environmental projects across Kansas. Green Team collaborates with conservation groups, agencies and schools to enhance and foster an understanding of Kansas’ environment. The Green Team completes an average of 50 to 70 projects per year and engages 250 to 600 employees, retirees and their families annually.
