Gift of Giving Payments

Westar Energy understands that customers may wish to help out a neighbor, friend or family member by making a payment to their account.

For privacy reasons, Westar cannot disclose the recipient’s account information including name on the account, address, balance, account number, etc. so please have the recipient’s name and address handy.

To make payment on someone's account:

1. Call 1-800-383-1183.

   Or

2. Mail check to:

   Make your check payable to Westar Energy and write “gift payment” on the memo line. Be sure to include on an attached note your contact information as well as the name and address of the recipient, and indicate if the payment is anonymous.
