| Wichita to Hutchinson to Salina Transmission Line |

Westar has received permission from the Kansas Corporation Commission to build a 345 Kilovolt High-capacity transmission line from Wichita to Salina. View filed KCC dockets.
The line will be constructed in two phases;
- Phase 1 will run from near Wichita to Hutchinson (approximately 35 miles).
- Phase 2 will run from Hutchinson to Salina (approximately 51 miles).
