| Wichita to Hutchinson to Salina Transmission Line |

Westar completed the Wichita to Hutchinson portion of the high-voltage transmission (345 kV) line in early 2009. Work continues on the Hutchinson to Salina portion.
The line will be constructed in two phases;
- Phase 1 will run from near Wichita to Hutchinson (approximately 35 miles).
- Phase 2 will run from Hutchinson to Salina (approximately 51 miles).
