Transmission Projects

Transmission lines are high-voltage wires that carry large amounts of electricity over long distances. These lines transport electricity from power plants to electric substations. Additional high-capacity lines improve the electric network across Kansas, improve reliability and reduce fuel-costs to Westar customers.
