Payment Extension
  • Accounts with a past due balance may be eligible
  • Account can only be 30 days behind
  • Sign-in to our secure online services to see if your account qualifies

12-Month Pay Agreement
    To set up a 12 month Pay Agreement
  • Required amount is 1/12 of the total account balance
  • The agreement is set up after payment is made
  • The customer must contact Westar to set up the agreement
    How it works
  • Amount due each month is 1/12 of the account balance + current monthly bill
  • Westar must receive payments by the due date indicated on the bill
  • Payments must be in the full amount indicated on the bill
  • The agreement may be paid off early

Life Support Service
  • For customers that depend on electrical equipment for medical purposes
  • Must be a permanent member of the household
  • We alert you to planned outages
  • We can provide special instructions for coping with unplanned outages
  • Learn more about our Life Support Program.


Third Party Notification
  • This is a great service for older or disabled customers or those who travel
  • The customer designates the third party

  • The third party receives the monthly statements
  • Third party receives notification before service disconnection for non-payment
  • Third party is not responsible for the bill
