Braille and large print bills.
This special service for our sight impaired customers sends the Westar Energy statements in either large print or in braille.
Third Party Notification
With this program, a third party can be designated by a customer to receive notification in the event service is to be disconnected for service bills. This can be especially important to older or disabled customers or those who travel frequently. The third party is not responsible for payment of the bill.
Life Support Service
This is a special service for our electric customers. If a member of your household depends on approved special medical equipment that requires electricity, we can alert them to planned outages, provide special instructions for coping with unplanned outages (storms, equipment failure, etc.) and suggest alternative emergency energy supply equipment.
