Westar Energy operates within tariffs approved by the Kansas Corporation Commission. Copies of the tariffs are available on the pages below. Please select the rate area that applies to you. If you are uncertain, review the list of communities for each rate area.



Natural gas prices have been substantially lower this year compared to the past couple years. This has helped keep this summer's fuel charge or Retail Energy Cost Adjustment (RECA) costs down.
